Penyihir Luck yakin ini sudah berakhir. Terkepung oleh iblis-iblis yang sangat kuat, ia rela berkorban dengan menahan serangan iblis sementara temannya melarikan diri. Tanpa tidur atau beristirahat, Luck bertahan menghadapi serangan pedang, hujan darah, dan gelombang musuh yang tak kunjung habis. Terlepas dari itu, ia berhasil mengalahkan komandan pasukan iblis dan keluar sebagai pemenang, hanya untuk menyadari 10 tahun telah berlalu. Selain itu, tubuhnya kembali ke usia yang jauh lebih muda hingga ia tampak seperti remaja. Setelah kemenangannya, Luck kembali pada teman-temannya, sang pahlawan Eric Imgard Mendirival dan ksatria Goran Morton. Karena mereka mengira Luck sudah tewas, keduanya memastikan namanya tercatat dalam sejarah sebagai pahlawan dan mempersiapkan diri untuk melawan kebangkitan iblis-iblis, tanpa menyadari keberhasilan Luck. Dengan mempertimbangkan semuanya, Luck hanya menginginkan kehidupan yang santai, sehingga ia mendaftar sebagai petualang pemula dengan nama Lock dan memulai perjalanan bersama teman-teman barunya.
